![]() ![]() I have attempted to figure out how to list the website in FireFox settings to block it but in the security>Notifications>Settings area there is no way to manually add a website to block it. ![]() I have searched Google for: fake McAfee popup, the website name and the referenced entry and I did not come up with any suggested solutions to use. I have the requested logs from the FRST and Addition I have run HijackThis and have the logs if needed. I have searched my registry for both the website and the referenced entry and McAfee (this has solved many a problem in the past) and there is no reference to the website or the referenced entry but there was a key that came up in the search for McAfee which I deleted - it was associated to Microsoft One or something like that. I have run my Malwarebytes, scans come back clean. I get a pop up for a McAfee scan that if clicked on takes me to a the website and associates a reference to lp-anti-sau I have a clone of my drive and my data on my second drive is not affected. I have only used Edge once or twice and I used to use Chrome as my main browser but I got tired of it hogging resources.įull respectful disclosure: yes, I have cracked software.
